soul and the spirit

I was talking to a friend about music. He mentioned how music playlists get old fast and how we have to always update what we listen to. It’s true, I’m always craving for something new to satisfy my music appetite. But insterestingly, hymns and songs to the Lord never gets old. We sing the same songs week by week by month by year, and still we love singing and listening to them. The only difference is that we aren’t just enjoying these songs in our soul; when we sing hymns and songs to the Lord, it goes much deeper than that. We are enjoying them in our spirit….and THAT never gets old. Oh no…never old. It actually gets newer and more fresh each time.
